Bell Farm After School Club is now Treetops!

Having taken over the management of our wraparound childcare in September 2016, the Bell Farm after school club has gone from strength to strength.

Under the guidance of our club manager Mrs Robinson, who is also a TA at the school, our after-school club is now a hive of activity with over 40 children attending on an average day.

As it is hosted on the school grounds and staffed by school staff, we can utilise all the space and facilities that Bell Farm has to offer.  Children are free to play outside, tend to the after-school club garden, use the ICT suite, or play games or craft in our main after school club space.

All the staff regularly work in school and so know the children well, and we have a bank of standby staff which allows us to cater for as many children as necessary.  We appreciate work emergencies happen, or late appointments may crop up, and so we have the capacity to cater for additional children at late notice, without compromising our ratios.

We never turn anyone away!

In order to really give children a sense of belonging, and in keeping with our motto, “Proud to Belong”, we decided that our after-school club needed a name to give it its own identity.

We are thrilled to announce that after a number of suggestions, and a school wide vote, the Bell Farm after school club will now be known as Treetops!

Treetops is open to all pupils from Reception to Year 6. Held in our dining hall, it is run each afternoon from 3:15pm until 6:00pm.

Regularly booked sessions are £10.50, and ad hoc sessions £11.50, giving real value for money.

As well as a full and inclusive activity programme, the children are offered a variety of food options, including sandwiches, pasta salad, as well as fruit and vegetables.

Once the summer holidays are over parents are more than welcome to pop in after school and see Treetops in full swing – please contact the school office to book a suitable time.
